I treated some of the ladies that I run with, including my wife, to a brunch there. Oh my, let me tell you you are missing out on this little gem if you never been. The food was amazing. The staff was great. It is a little small but they do there absolute best to accommodate you.
I just recently tried this restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I tried the special of the day, which was "Braised Brisket with garlic cheese grits and roasted squash." My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and will definitely be coming back! Came back again three days later to try some more food. Both the service and food was great. This time I ended up getting the lil' piggy sandwich, as well as the Boudin Cake.
Lula Perl was an amazing brunch experience. Have heard so much about this cafe // brunch gem. The quality is unmatched along with the coffee. Went on a specials Saturday to get a Cassoulet with boudin, brisket omelette & a pimento sandwich. The food is made with quality ingredients that leave you feeling full but not in a food coma. Was so delicious I put in a to go order that was enjoyed a couple of hours later. The homemade biscuits & bacon were the star, however everything was delicious. Will be back when they are open for dinner!
I had the crawfish omelette with a croissant and a cafe au lat. DELICIOUS. The server was kind and quick. The location is convenient. Theres a decent crowd, but it doesnt feel crowded. I highly reccomend
I enjoyed the breakfast at thos establishment. The staff were very welcoming and the food was great. The portions were filling and had lots of flavor, with a southern/creole twist.
My girlfriend and I stopped by for brunch on a road trip, and I must say, best experience ever!! We had the brisket omelet and birria waffles with the peach lemonade. Definitely a must try!! The atmosphere, staff, and experience was top notch! Will definitely visit again!!
Awesome experience! The chef and staff are personable and very good at their craft. The Birria Waffles are amazing - the aged pepper mash and tender brisket paired with the homemade waffle is a perfect breakfast.
This small hometown restaurant not only showed up and showed out with amazing service but they elevated breakfast with delicious food and custom drinks!
I had the brisket omelet with bacon, and it was quite amazing! Hannah, my server was great! They made accommodations for my gluten sensitivity. The food came out fast and was hot and delicious.
This little jewel has it all - fabulous homemade biscuits, great coffee, flavorful croissants, and the star of it all is the brisket omelette. It’s perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. The cafe is nice and quiet with good oldies music and a friendly knowledgeable staff. They take great care of people with food allergies, too. Highly recommend stopping here. I know we’ll be back!
